Vibrant scarves that capture the spirit of Uruguay

Our Designs

World Cup Centenary

In Uruguay football has always been more than sport; it’s part of our very identity.

Each victory – from the 1924 and 1928 Olympics to the 1930 World Cup and the 1950 Maracaná – has helped forge the unique spirit of our small nation into something enormous and enduring: the garra charrúa

In 2030, the World Cup returns to Montevideo, and in honour and anticipation, Garza Verde offers this lush commemorative design.

Blue Gaucho

Forged by nature’s ruggedness, the gaucho emerges as an untamed, wandering spirit, a solitary traveller shaped by silence, exposure, and the dawns of the open plains. Master of himself and bound to an austere code, he moves through the landscape like a free centaur, guided by courage, loyalty, and a revolutionary faith in freedom.

His world, made of facón knife, maté, poncho, and horse, was also a song: verses born of nostalgia, protest, and patriotic deeds.

Red Gaucho

The gaucho’s world was also a song: verses born of nostalgia, protest, and patriotic deeds. This world was gradually hemmed in by law, fencing, and authority, which sought to domesticate what they could not understand.

Despite today’s noisy, mechanized modernity, the spirit of this world endures.  It lives as an echo, an inherited memory of freedom that still moves across the land and beats, silently, in the veins.
